Are republicans proud of thier party? why has mccain sought to distance himself from bush?

republicans, conservatives alike are talking about how liberal sen obama is. they blog about what he will do to this country. bumper stickers against obama, etc. president bush presides over an economy in shambles. the us government is now forced to decide whether or not to bail out wall street and main street. yet mainly republicans privately wonder what 4 more years of the mccains/ bush white house will do to this country. palin is a none entity. she is as clueless about washington as stevie wonder behind the wheel at nascar.
