California Teaching Credential Question?
I really don't think it matters. I had to get California teaching credentials after qualifying and teaching in another state for several years. The easiest way for me to do this was by examination, because I did NOT want to pay to go back to school. I've had no problems with my credentials, and I didn't see any reason to put the information on my resume. If an interviewer asked, of course you'd tell the truth, but employed teachers take CSETs all the time in order add subjects to their resume. (For example, a math teacher may be requested to qualify in a science as well to fill in a hole in the schedule.) The tests are valued as much as coursework. Just remember that these tests aren't easy. You could be asked anything about your subject and advanced knowledge is required.
