Doesn't anyone support that Houston teacher giving that kid a taste of his own medicine?

I don't know this story, but I read that my town, Temple, Tx is going back to paddling again and parents are for it. I think today's youth is a shame. No respect and getting away with murder. But look at our world today- divorce, parents working two jobs and no time spent with the kid. Girls getting pregnant younger and younger and parents have to raise these babies all over again. We have way too much technology- internet, cell phones, texting, ting, music videos with people like Lady Gaga half naked, etc... It all makes me sick to my gut. I'm a grown woman and when I have a kid, I will beat that a** if he misbehaves!
