One of my rollerblade wheels is worn out?

the other day i tried swapping the worn out front wheel with a middle wheel and the screws keyhole wouldn't allow me to screw the screw out as the edges are worn out. how can i replace the wheel now.i'm planning to get new skates and when trying to get the screw out how do i avoid worn out edges of the keyhole on the screw.
