Question about shipping stuff to my soldier in afghanistan?

Okay here goes : I recently asked my boyfriend what he needed, and he replied that he needed shaving cream. his aunt told me that they have restrictions about sending aerosol cans. I dont have a car so going to the store is a lil hard for me and i dont want to send my friends on a wild goose chase to find a kind i can send. Please anyone whos dealt with this I really need some advice.
