What is the maximum window period for HIV by PCR test?

For HIV ..you need to wait at list 3 month after exposure ,if you want to be in the safe site.lot of people,they get tested negative after 2 weeks of exposure but then after 3 month the same person can be tested positive.For an effective result wait about 3 month and then get tested.
