Which philosophers established the importance/necessity of quality of life?National defense? Sanctity of life?

Most of them. There are so many philosophers that spoke on these subjects that the list would take more space than I could/can use. But seriously, most academicians, stoics, epicurean, well most dogmatic would say so. Only sceptic, pyrrhonist and atheist would not etablish importance.
